CGO e. V., founded in January 2020, is a registered non-profit organization by the indigenous peoples of the Philippine Cordillera (Igorots) residing in Germany.
The foundation of the organization was rooted on the requisite of social connection among the growing population of Cordillerans in central Europe. CGO looks ahead to be an organization for every Cordillerans and Igorots in Germany so long as required.
Our purpose
As a cultural organization dedicated to promoting social integration among Cordillerans in Germany, we are committed to celebrating, preserving, and sharing the rich traditions of the Igorot culture. Through our efforts, we aim to foster mutual understanding and appreciation among our community members. Additionally, we actively engage in charitable endeavors to support and uplift the Cordilleran community.
Our Community
Gatherings serve as crucial avenues for human social interaction, communication, and the exchange of ideas and experiences. They play a pivotal role in building relationships, promoting collaboration, and fortifying communities.
As CGO e.V., we are committed to supporting newcomers in Germany through purposeful events designed to unite us for various objectives, including active socialization, celebration, discussion, and collaboration.
Our community spans across Germany, encompassing vibrant cities such as Berlin, Bonn, Cologne (Köln), Frankfurt, and Munich (Bayern).
Through these gatherings, we aspire to create a welcoming environment where newcomers can connect, share experiences, and integrate seamlessly into their new surroundings. By fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie, we aim to strengthen bonds within our community and contribute to the broader cultural fabric of Germany.
